🏋🏽‍♂️Can you lose weight with the fruit of the Spirit?

Happy Fruitful Friday Reader!

Can the fruit of the Spirit help your weight?

That may sound like a totally crazy connection, Reader. After all, the Potter made his vessels all different shapes and sizes, right? While that is true, we each have a unique weight that, if we could stay there, we'd be happier and healthier. Maintaining a healthy weight has become increasingly challenging for me as I've grown older. I find myself having to work harder at it and talking about it too much. I even spent some time praying over it, which is when God reminded me that His Spirit can give me the self-control I need to reach the healthy weight I should be.

This summer, Little Pot has asked our readers to share their testimonies about how the Potter grew the fruit of the Spirit through them. And in God's perfect timing, this week's guest shares exactly how the Potter produced the self-control she needed to lose over 100 pounds!

SELF-CONTROL that helps you lose weight!

Reader, I cannot wait for you to meet Fruit Pot, Christine Trimpe.

Christine tells the story of a mountain she wanted to climb but couldn't. At forty-eight, she was over one hundred pounds heavier than she should be. Wanting to climb a literal mountain at the Rocky Mountain National Park, her weight and health would not allow her to do it. As she looked up, she realized the mountain was not just a literal achievement. She needed to be able to climb and move mountains figuratively, too. She prayed, and the Potter answered. Her faith moved a mountain of despair, and she began to climb a mountain of physical health. Click on the link to read more.

When have you seen fruit in your life?

Reader, I'm anxious to hear your story, too. I am still looking for examples of Joy, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, and Gentleness!

I've included an easy-to-fill-in form below. Just click the button and share a time when it would have been impossible to be joyful, patient, kind, good, or gentle without the power of the Holy Spirit in you. A time when your fruitfulness surprised you.

I will continue to select stories to share on my blog. I'll share them anonymously, or, if you wish, I'll include links to promote you, your website, products, and services.

Reader, if you haven't already, will you please encourage others and share your story?
