Hello, Fruit Pot Reader, 🇺🇸Memorial Day MemoriesAre you ready to celebrate Memorial Day Weekend? Do you have any traditions? When I was a kid, our town always had a Memorial Day parade. In elementary school, I marched with the Girl Scouts. Then in High School, I marched with our High School Marching Band. We lived in a small town, so everyone participated. Here's a fun picture of my mom and dad dressed up as the Statue of Liberty and Uncle Sam from the 1970s. After the parade, my family would always go to the cemetery to place flowers on my grandparents' and sister's graves. I had an older sister who died before I was born. My Memorial Day celebrations as an adult were more about going to the beach and having an end-of-school-year celebration. Reader, I'm sad to admit my traditions were not as patriotic as they used to be. 🪴The Potter wants us to remember.Regardless of how you celebrate, spending time remembering is essential. The Potter wants us to remember Him and celebrate, too. The Bible is full of verses about remembering. Click here to read a few.

Happy Fruitful Friday Reader! Can the fruit of the Spirit help your weight? That may sound like a totally crazy connection, Reader. After all, the Potter made his vessels all different shapes and sizes, right? While that is true, we each have a unique weight that, if we could stay there, we'd be happier and healthier. Maintaining a healthy weight has become increasingly challenging for me as I've grown older. I find myself having to work harder at it and talking about it too much. I even...
